Local Missions
Every member at Liberty has the opportunity to participate in the work the Lord is doing in York County.
First and foremost, every Christian can pray. Pray for the poor and marginalized and pray that we would love our neighbors totally.
Second, every Christian can serve. Either by volunteering to help in one of the ministries of Liberty. Or by going and serving on a mission trip.
Lastly you can give to those who can do the work where we can’t.
We partner with like-minded organizations within our community which bring training, infrastructure, and strategy while the church brings community, relationships, and the gospel. We focus on shared values and objectives, recognizing that as our people engage with their communities, they are bringing Jesus into the mix. Serving is often an effective way to demonstrate the transforming power of the gospel.
God is making a great name for himself among the nations, and he has called all Christians to be an active part of his mission. At Liberty, our goal is to see as many people come to know Christ as we can. It is our firm belief that every member of the church can be a part of this task.
Expanded Missions
Every Member Has a Role
Every member at Liberty has the opportunity to participate in the work the Lord is doing in the nation and overseas.
Pray
First and foremost, every Christian can pray. Pray for the lost who have never heard the gospel and pray for the missionaries who God has called to take the gospel to these distant places.
Give
Second, every Christian can give. Every time you give to the church, a portion of your gift goes to see the gospel advanced to the nations.
Go
Finally, you can go. Go to the mission field yourself, either on a short-term trip or as a long-term missionary.
